When I tried skiing on them, I found that they were easy to handle on groomed runs and could carve well, with the pointed end of the ski acting as a brake during powder skiing and the flexible front making turning easier in powder. Unfortunately, the temperature on the day of the test ride was warm, and I would have preferred to try them in powder. Nevertheless, the Omega skis were easy to handle and fast, and I could see why my wife enjoyed them even more than I did.
